Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 31) - The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday that the Pasig Rivery ferry service will resume operations beginning Monday next week but only at half the capacity in line with physical distancing measures.

MMDA said the ride will be free of charge on Mondays to Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Operational ferry stations are Pinagbuhatan, Valenzuela, San Joaquin, Lawton, Guadalupe, and Escolta.

Available routes are Pinagbuhatan to Guadalupe, Guadalupe to Escolta and vice versa, and Guadalupe to San Joaquin and vice versa.

MMDA a “no mask, no entry” rule will be implemented. Passengers need to fill out a manifest form and commuter information sheet.

Body temperature will be checked.

MMDA said only those 21 to 59 years old can board the ferry.
