Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 28) — A number of local governments have eased their testing requirements as new COVID-19 cases in the country decline.

The Department of Tourism said negative COVID-19 test results are no longer required for fully vaccinated individuals to enter the following areas:

- Tarlac

- Pampanga

- Nueva Ecija

- Camiguin

- Batangas

- Oriental Mindoro

- Masbate

- Camarines Norte

- Iloilo

- Guimaras

- Negros Occidental

- Bohol

- Southern Leyte

- Zamboanga del Sur

- Zamboanga Sibugay

- Misamis Oriental

- Bulacan

- Cebu Province

- Davao City

- Ilocos Norte (starting Dec. 1)

Tourists will only need to present their valid vaccination cards, particularly those issued by the Department of Health or their local government unit.

The agency reminded travelers, as well as tourism workers and businesses, not to be complacent and still observe health protocols, given the more relaxed restrictions.
