Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Travelers from select countries may now present their respective national COVID-19 vaccination certificates to prove their immunization status in the Philippines, the national pandemic inter-agency task force said.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has approved the Department of Foreign Affairs' recommendation to recognize such certificates from the following countries:

- Australia

- Austria

- Colombia

- Czech Republic

- Georgia

- India

- Iraq

- Italy

- Japan

- Kazakhstan

- the Netherlands

- Samoa

- Singapore

- Tunisia

- Turkey

- United Arab Emirates

- United Kingdom

- Vietnam

Vaccination certificates from these nations will be accepted for arrival quarantine protocols along with interzonal and intrazonal movement, according to the IATF.

This is “without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by IATF for all inbound travelers,” it said.

The Bureau of Quarantine, Bureau of Immigration, and Department of Transportation One-Stop-Shop are likewise ordered to recognize the only vaccination proof approved by the IATF.

The Philippines itself has a COVID-19 vaccine certificate — the digitally-issued VaxCertPH — which has beeen approved for domestic use.
