Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 3) — Typhoon Nyatoh is no longer expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), but its trough will drench parts of Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Friday.

"Tyhoon Nyatoh is still moving in a northeastward direction, meaning to say, we will not expect this typhoon to enter our area of responsibility," Raymond Ordinario, weather forecaster at the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, told CNN Philippines' New Day.

However, Nyatoh will bring moderate to heavy rains in Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros provinces and the southern portion of Palawan, including Kalayaan Island, Ordinario said

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora may have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon, he added.

The rest of the country will likely experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Ordinario sees no other weather disturbance affecting the country in the coming days, but noted that two tropical cyclones may still enter PAR this month.
