Tacloban City (CNN Philippines, September 12) — A police patrol car of the Leyte Police Mobile Force Company rammed an electric post in Tolosa, Leyte, Thursday morning, causing a power outage in four towns in the province.

The towns of Tolosa, Tanauan, Tabontabon and Dagami experienced a temporary power outage due to the accident.

Police investigation revealed that the patrol car was traveling northbound when the driver lost control. It rammed a house first before hitting an electrical post of Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative (DORELCO).

A policeman was injured in the accident.

The site of the incident was identified as an accident prone area in Tolosa.
