Siquijor remains COVID-free despite three listed cases

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 20) — The Department of Health Central Visayas said that the province of Siquijor is still free from COVID-19 despite three cases listed under it.

DOH-7 Spokesperson Dr. Mary Jean Loreche said these patients are not admitted in a hospital in the province, but only listed Siquijor as their home address. Therefore, Siquijor remains with no admitted nor active cases.

Of the three cases, patients who were admitted in Makati City and Cebu City already died, while another one is still admitted in Pasig City.

To date, total number of COVID-19 cases in the country is at 68,898 with the addition of 1,521 new cases. Recoveries climbed to 23,072, while death toll is at 1,835.
