Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 4) — Justin Brownlee will make a detour to Lebanon before returning to the Philippine Basketball Association.

The 6-foot-7 American player will suit up for Al Riyadi Beirut in the Lebanese Basketball League, his agent Sheryl Reyes confirmed on her Twitter account Monday.

According to Reyes, Brownlee will be ready to make a comeback for Barangay Ginebra in May so he is cleared to play in the Commisioner's Cup and Governors' Cup.

Having an all-around game, Brownlee has become Ginebra's resident import since 2016. He led the franchise to three PBA titles.
