Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 16) — The Ateneo Blue Eagles kept their unscathed record after beating the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, 65-55, Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

But it was not an easy win for the Blue Eagles as they had to find the right timing to make a comeback in the match.

FEU was solid early on both ends of the floor, limiting Ateneo to 15 points in the opening quarter.

Things were looking good for the Tamaraws as they managed to keep the edge going into the final period.

It was composure that again proved to be key for the Blue Eagles as they grabbed the lead in the latter part of the fourth period and snatched the victory.

Thirdy Ravena recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds for Ateneo. The Katipunan-based squad improved its win-loss slate to 11-0.

L-jay Gonzales powered the charge for FEU with 12 markers.

The Blue Eagles hope to continue their hot streak against the University of the East Red Warriors on October 20 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City. Meanwhile, the Tamaraws will tackle the De La Salle University Green Archers on October 19 at the same place.
