Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 22) — The UAAP is looking into the possibility of holding four basketball games in a day in Season 82.

It is seeing the move to fix the conflict in schedules with the upcoming Southeast Asian Games, which the country is hosting in November.

The UAAP basketball season starts every September and ends in December.

"There may be a day we're playing four (seniors basketball) games in a day, that might be a Wednesday. It might be a first. It's for the country to give way to the SEA Games," UAAP Executive Director Rebo Saguisag told CNN Philippines Wednesday.

The UAAP, for the longest time, held two basketball games in three play dates in a week.

Ateneo de Manila University is the UAAP Season 82 host school.
