A 2017 Karateka Southeast Asian (SEA) Games medalist and six-time Philippine National Games medalist says he was "robbed" of an opportunity to compete for the country at the 30th SEA Games.

He says that he was wrongfully evaluated and even funded his own training to compete internationally with little support from the government. In a statement, Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation says that players are chosen based on technical and athletic performance and attitude.

We sit down with 2017 SEA Games bronze medalist James delos Santos.
