Human trafficking is prevalent around the world but its never been this brazen or for that matter this bizzare. An American woman was held at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday as she tried to smuggle out a six-day-old boy with Filipino features who she carried in what authorities initially thought was a bag but was actually a baby sling. Airline securities stopped her when she couldn't produce documents for the baby. There is no passport, no ticket, no signed adoption papers or the very least a permit from the Social Welfare department stating that the infant's parents are allowing him to travel without them.

Our guests for this episode: Atty. Bernadette Abejo, Atty. Ruel Dugayon and Gabe Mercado.

This is On the Record with Pia Hontiveros.
