The country's future athletes have found a new home.

This is the National Academy of Sports (NSA) which will be operational next year.

The government is setting almost two billion pesos for the NSA.

The academy is the first of its kind in the country and the hope is to give secondary students an opportunity to realize their dreams as athletes.

The Education Department and the Philippine Sports Commission are working hand in hand on this major initiative.

Joining us is Professor Josephine Joy Reyes. She's the executive Director of the National Academy of Sports.
